Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how ConnectRMS™ (“ConnectRMS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the ConnectRMS.net website (the “site”). It applies only to this site. It does not describe how information is handled within the ConnectRMS platform or any other service.

Information you provide

The site does not include forms that send information to us. If you contact us using an email address listed on the site — such as sales@connectrms.net or investors@connectrms.net — the link opens your own email application, and we receive the information you choose to include. This typically includes your name, email address, and the content of your message, and may include your organization, job title, phone number, or other details you decide to share.

Please don’t send sensitive personal information, or information about consumer accounts, through email to these addresses.

Information received when you visit

Like any website, the site receives the technical information your browser sends with each request in order to deliver pages to you. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is received by our hosting infrastructure and may be recorded in server logs used to operate, deliver, and secure the site.

Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, the site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to help us understand how the site is used. Google Analytics then collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site (for example, the referring website and campaign parameters such as utm_source in the link you followed), your device, browser, and operating system, your general location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the site — for example, how far you scroll, which links you follow, and whether you use the Stella guide or the Request a Demo page. Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize your browser across visits.

We have configured Google Analytics to limit what it receives: page addresses are sent without query parameters other than campaign parameters; the contents of form fields, and names, email addresses, or phone numbers, are not sent; and Google signals, advertising features, and ad personalization are turned off. If you don’t accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics information is sent to Google.

The site does not use advertising or remarketing technologies, session recording, or chat tools, and apart from Google Analytics (when you consent) it does not embed third-party services.

Cookies and browser storage

The site stores your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so that it doesn’t ask you on every page; it asks again after 12 months. Only if you accept analytics cookies does Google Analytics set its cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>), which by default last up to two years. Our Cookie Policy explains each of these in more detail.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your inquiries and provide the information you request, including information about ConnectRMS and investor inquiries;
• communicate with you about your inquiry and maintain records of our business correspondence;
• operate, deliver, maintain, and secure the site, including detecting and preventing misuse;
• if you consent to analytics, understand how visitors use the site so that we can improve its content and measure interest in ConnectRMS; and
• comply with applicable law and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Service providers and disclosures

The site is hosted and delivered by Amazon Web Services, which processes the request information described above on our behalf to deliver the site. Email you send us is received through the email services we use to operate our business.

If you consent to analytics, Google provides the Google Analytics service and processes the analytics information described above. Google describes how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites .

We may also disclose information where we believe it is required by law or legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect the security of the site or the rights, property, or safety of ConnectRMS or others.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email is not always encrypted end to end, which is another reason to avoid sending sensitive information by email.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to and follow up on your inquiry and to maintain business records — and as required or permitted by applicable law. How long that is depends on the nature of the information and why we have it.

Google Analytics data is kept for the data retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it. Google Analytics cookies remain in your browser until they expire, you delete them, or you withdraw consent, at which point the site deletes them.

Your choices and rights

You can choose whether to contact us, and what to include when you do. You can also control cookies and site data through your browser settings.

Analytics cookies are off unless you accept them. You can accept or reject them when the site first asks, and change your choice at any time in Cookie preferences (also linked in the site footer). If you withdraw consent, the site stops loading Google Analytics and deletes its cookies from connectrms.net. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a rejection of analytics unless you turn analytics on yourself.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

The site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the site’s practices change. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
